Evening Reporting Center

Evening Reporting Center (ERC) is a community-based alternative to detention for a target group of minor respondents who would otherwise be detained in Cook County’s Juvenile Temporary Detention Center. ERC serves youth age 10-18 who are on home confinement and assigned to the program by the court.

This program aims to:

  • Help youth remain arrest-free;
  • Minimize risk-taking and delinquent behaviors during and beyond program participation;
  • Reduce recidivism and the likelihood of re-arrest; and,
  • Ensure that clients attend their scheduled court appearanc
